Aloha! I am Kat Varano, Broker and REALTOR®, on the beautiful Island of Kaua'i.  Kaua'i stole my heart nearly 25 years ago, and I am fortunate to have relocated permanently in 2021 after a successful real estate career in North Carolina, and prior to that, in Arizona.  I am grateful every day for the ability to live on Kaua'i.

My real estate and lending experience spans over 30 years and 7 states, with proven success in the navigation of various and often volatile markets.   The ability to quickly adapt to changing markets is key to my continued success.  

My true gift is nurturing relationships and helping people, with a focus on guiding a home buyer or seller to a decision that is best for them, and that may not lead to a real estate sale.  I love people and establishing those close connections.  Combined with my love (or perhaps obsession) with real estate, these two go hand-in-hand.  My heart is for my clients' well-being.

My strengths lie in the details, and whether you are moving across the globe or across the island, my level of follow-through is unprecedented.   I tend to attract the most discerning buyers and sellers with my level of commitment and deep regard for honesty and integrity.

Besides a career in real estate, I have enjoyed freelance writing and editing, I've earned a BS in Counseling Psychology and an MA in Education. I previously taught Kindergarten through high school (English) and have served on numerous real estate committees on the Board of Realtors.  

My husband, Nathan, a local chiropractor, and I have raised four children, who all reside on the mainland, along with two grandchildren.  We take advantage of many outdoor activities available on Kaua'i and we love introducing others to this incredible community.
